Eleven Talents, Many Opportunities: New Apprentices Start at HEINZMANN
Schönau, September 2026 – As the new training year begins, HEINZMANN is welcoming eleven new apprentices to its Schönau site. Since 1 September, they have been gaining their first experience of working life and laying the foundations for their future careers.
The new recruits are starting their careers in a range of technical and commercial professions: two apprentices in industrial management, two electronics technicians, two industrial mechanics, one IT specialist, two machine and plant operators, one mechatronics technician and one warehouse logistics specialist. Throughout their training, they will receive both professional and personal support from experienced trainers.
To mark the start of their apprenticeships, the new recruits were welcomed by their trainers, the Works Council and company management. Managing Director Marc Schäfer began by giving them an insight into HEINZMANN’s development, values and product portfolio – from technologies for reducing emissions to innovative electric drive systems.
Following a group photo with the apprentices and their trainers, everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves over breakfast. This provided plenty of time to get to know one another, make initial contacts and exchange ideas.
The Works Council then introduced its role before the group set off on a tour of various departments to learn more about the company. The apprentices gained their first insights into different areas of work, met colleagues and became familiar with some of the departments in which they will be working during their training. A practical safety briefing rounded off their first day.
With plenty of new impressions and a varied introduction behind them, the eleven young talents are now beginning their time at HEINZMANN – with a wide range of development opportunities and excellent conditions for gradually taking on greater responsibility.
Young Talents Shaping the Future at HEINZMANN
“Training young people means investing in the future of HEINZMANN,” says Markus Gromer, CEO of HEINZMANN. “We want to provide our apprentices not only with specialist knowledge, but also with opportunities from the very beginning to contribute their own ideas, take on responsibility and develop both professionally and personally. After all, tomorrow’s skilled professionals develop best in an environment where they are given trust and prospects today.”
HEINZMANN currently supports 21 apprentices and two dual-study students as they begin their professional careers. The company’s activities for young talent are complemented by practical study semesters and final-year projects for university students. In this way, HEINZMANN continuously creates opportunities for young people to gain practical experience at an early stage and explore prospects for their future professional development.
