Optimal control technology for any type of gas engine

The KRONOS 40 is a speed/power control system for gas engines with magnetically controlled gas injection valves. The system supports individual cylinders from 100 kW to 1 MW with up to 20 cylinders. The gas injection valves jet the gas upstream of the combustion chamber intake valve, and a control unit individually adjusts the gas quantity to the individual cylinders. To do this, it records the exhaust gas temperature, enabling precise cylinder-specific gas dosing. With additional HEINZMANN components, the system can be expanded to create a complete engine management system.

For system configuration please provide application specific information: Order Information.

Individual adjustment of the gas volume for each cylinder

  • Gas Admission Valves

    Gas Admission Valves

Our customers use KRONOS systems in power generators, compressors and vehicles (buses, lorries). For stationary systems with large, low-speed engines, gas admission valves are the preferred choice. MEGASOL valves are designed to operate with a comparatively high differential pressure of supplying air and gas. They are characterized by excellent load response, precise dosage and individual adjustment of gas quantity for each cylinder. MEGASOL valves have a very low leakage when closed and are easy maintain.
  • EFI Control

    EFI Control

The DARDANOS range includes universal EFI control units for engines with electronically controlled injection systems. These solenoid valve control systems are primarily used to control the speed. They help to optimise fuel consumption and this, in turn, results in less environmentally harmful emissions. They can also be used for basic monitoring functions, thereby increasing the operational reliability and availability of engines.
