Training Kick-Off at HEINZMANN – Entering the Professional World with Motivation and Future Prospects
Schönau, September 2025– In early September, a new chapter began for seven young people. Two apprentices in industrial business management, two electronics apprentices, two industrial mechanics apprentices, and one apprentice specialising in warehouse logistics embarked on their careers at Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG in Schönau.
“We are delighted that this year we were once again able to fill many apprenticeship positions successfully,” says Marc Rolka, HR Manager at HEINZMANN. The new talents are starting in administration, logistics, and mechanical engineering, all professions with promising prospects. To be precise: two industrial business management apprentices, two electronics apprentices, two industrial mechanics apprentice, and one warehouse logistics apprentice are beginning their training. They will be supported by dedicated trainers offering expertise and personal commitment.
The first day began with a warm welcome from the trainers and the works council. This was followed by an introductory round and a company presentation by Managing Director Gaudenz Pacher-Theinburg, who highlighted HEINZMANN’s development, values, and products – ranging from emission reduction components to innovative electric drive systems.
Afterwards, the technical team provided a hands-on safety briefing. A shared breakfast then offered the perfect opportunity for initial conversations and networking. During a subsequent tour of the departments, the apprentices gained exciting insights into various work areas, met colleagues, and took their first look at their future workplaces.
When the weather is nice, a trip to the Gurgelgrillhütte in Schönau marks the end of the first few weeks of training. Around a campfire, surrounded by nature and in a relaxed atmosphere, the new trainees have the opportunity to chat with their colleagues from the second and third years of training as well as with their trainers. This event will strengthen team spirit and round off a successful start to the training programme.
With many new impressions and a motivating start, the young talents are now beginning their journey at HEINZMANN – well supported, individually encouraged, and with a clear goal: to grow together.
