AFR Control - Gas Admission Valves
KRONOS 40 is a speed/load control system for gas engines with solenoid-controlled gas admission valves. The system supports single cylinder outputs from 100 kW to 1 MW with up to 20 cylinders. The gas injection valves inject the gas in front of the inlet valve of the combustion chamber, the gas quantity to the individual cylinders is individually adjusted by a control unit.
- Detection of the exhaust gas temperature for precise cylinder-specific gas dosing
- Expandable with HEINZMANN components to form a complete engine management system

AFR Control - Prepressure Principle
KRONOS 30 is an electronically controlled AFR control system for setting speed- and load-dependent lambda values in order to achieve ideal engine behaviour under all operating conditions. The flexible concept can be used to control engines with large fluctuations in the gas, engine and ambient parameters. The main areas of application are biogas and lean-burn engines that are supplied with slightly increased gas pressure via blowers.
- Application-independent gas mixer configuration allows operation with a wide range of gases
- Outstanding control accuracy for compliance with emission limits even under difficult conditions

AFR Control - Zero Pressure Principle
KRONOS 20 is an electronically controlled AFR control system for setting speed- and load-dependent lambda values in order to achieve ideal engine behaviour under all operating conditions. The main areas of application are natural gas and biogas engines that are supplied via a zero pressure regulator.
- With the various closed-loop versions, engine power, lambda or NOx sensors can be used as feedback signals to automatically correct for fluctuations in gas quality and engine load.

AFR Control - mechanical
KRONOS 10 is a simple mechanical system for adjusting the air-fuel ratio, consisting of a gas-air mixer and a mechanical gas adjustment valve. This simple solution can be used for engine sizes between 25 kW and 3 MW where precise emission control is not required.
- The mixer and gas adjustment screw have no moving parts. This guarantees high reliability, long service intervals and a minimum of maintenance work.
