Electronic Fuel Injection Controls

DARDANOS solenoid valve control systems combine their main function – speed control – with other performance characteristics that benefit the engine, including optimised fuel efficiency, higher engine power and lower pollutant emissions. The EFI control units are used as part of common rail or E-PPN injection systems in diesel engines. For gas engines, they are combined with electrically driven injection valves or gas injectors. Components for diesel and gas injection are used as part of the electronic injection control system in dual-fuel engines.

DARDANOS Controls for Electronic Fuel Injection

Bei der Produktreihe DARDANOS handelt es sich um universelle EFI-Steuergeräte für Motoren mit elektronisch gesteuerten Einspritzsystemen. Neben ihrer Hauptfunktion, der Drehzahlregelung, zeichnen sich diese Magnetventilsteuerungen durch weitere Leistungsmerkmale aus, die sich als vorteilhaft für Dieselmotoren erweisen: optimierte Kraftstoffeffizienz, höhere Motorleistung, weniger umweltschädliche Emissionen und geringere Rauchentwicklung. Die elektronische Kraftstoffeinspritzung trägt somit wesentlich zur Einhaltung der Emissionsvorschriften bei. Des Weiteren können die Steuerungen Basismonitoring übernehmen und damit die Betriebssicherheit von Motoren erhöhen.

DARDANOS Controls for Electronic Fuel Injection

The DARDANOS range includes universal EFI control units for engines with electronically controlled injection systems. These solenoid valve control systems are primarily used to control the speed. They help to optimise fuel consumption and this, in turn, results in less environmentally harmful emissions. They can also be used for basic monitoring functions, thereby increasing the operational reliability and availability of engines.

MVC 01-24

A solenoid valve control system for industrial diesel, gas and dual-fuel engines with a maximum of 24 cylinders. Enables up to seven precise injections per cylinder and stroke; large number of I/Os enables optimum engine operation and monitoring; can be used with any control system based on solenoid valves; combined with MEGASOL injection valves for gas injection systems. What’s more, up to 3 actuators can be actuated directly, for instance to control the air volume (throttle valve, turbocharger bypass, wastegates). It can be expanded as a redundant system for use in ship engines.

The high-pressure pumps from the HDP-K range feature a unique crank mechanism. They offer the greatest possible efficiency and resilience and are ideally suited to the requirements of harsh industrial environments. The special design aims to minimise the wear on pumps and pistons. As such, HDP-K high-pressure pumps ensure efficient operation whilst requiring little maintenance.

CR High-Pressure Pump HDP-K3

A high-pressure pump with 3 pressure elements for handling system pressures of up to 2,400 bar, with a delivery rate of up to 15 l/min (1 pump) or 30 l/min (redundant operation with 2 pumps). It is installed using flanges or on a base.

ODYSSEUS Common Rail Injectors

The new generation of ICR-DS injectors has been designed to eliminate static leakage, and reduces the return flow of fuel by 75 % compared to conventional injectors. By integrating the accumulator volume, pressure peaks inside the injector are reduced by 25 %. This produces a uniform, consistent flow of fuel, which is crucial for operation with heavy oil in particular.
