ODYSSEUS Common Rail Systems include all components for injection and for generating pressure, thereby guaranteeing optimum connectivity and compatibility. Together with the DARDANOS solenoid valve control units, the very precise hydro-mechanical components represent a holistic solution for state-of-the-art common rail injection technology. The ODYSSEUS range covers engine ratings from 150 to 10,000 kW and more. The different variants of the system are not only suitable for different engine sizes, but also different applications and fuel grades. DARDANOS Controls for Electronic Fuel Injection

The DARDANOS range includes universal EFI control units for engines with electronically controlled injection systems. These solenoid valve control systems are primarily used to control the speed. They help to optimise fuel consumption and this, in turn, results in less environmentally harmful emissions. They can also be used for basic monitoring functions, thereby increasing the operational reliability and availability of engines.

MVC 01-24

A solenoid valve control system for industrial diesel, gas and dual-fuel engines with a maximum of 24 cylinders. Enables up to seven precise injections per cylinder and stroke; large number of I/Os enables optimum engine operation and monitoring; can be used with any control system based on solenoid valves; combined with MEGASOL injection valves for gas injection systems. What’s more, up to 3 actuators can be actuated directly, for instance to control the air volume (throttle valve, turbocharger bypass, wastegates). It can be expanded as a redundant system for use in ship engines.

ODYSSEUS Common Rail High-Pressure Pumps

The high-pressure pumps from the HDP-K range feature a unique crank mechanism. They offer the greatest possible efficiency and resilience and are ideally suited to the requirements of harsh industrial environments. The special design aims to minimise the wear on pumps and pistons. As such, HDP-K high-pressure pumps ensure efficient operation whilst requiring little maintenance.

CR High-Pressure Pump HDP-K4 HFO

A high-pressure pump with 4 pressure elements for handling system pressures of up to 2,400 bar, with a delivery rate of up to 65 l/min (1 pump) or up to 130 l/min (redundant operation with 2 pumps). Suitable for operation with heavy oil as it has a special seal concept on both sides, mixed-oil drain and temperature-resistant design.

ODYSSEUS Common Rail Injectors

The new generation of ICR-DS injectors has been designed to eliminate static leakage, and reduces the return flow of fuel by 75 % compared to conventional injectors. By integrating the accumulator volume, pressure peaks inside the injector are reduced by 25 %. This produces a uniform, consistent flow of fuel, which is crucial for operation with heavy oil in particular.
