For HEINZMANN, close collaboration with universities and research institutes is a fundamental principle and a necessity for maintaning innovation leadership in areas such as reducing diesel-engine emissions and electric mobility.
A selection of our current collaborative projects with universities:
Projects are supported by both the German Federal Government and the EU and have lead to considerable developmental success in the past: The fuel-saving "Schluckspecht" (gas guzzler) diesel engine, designed by students from the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, recently won the international Shell Eco-marathon.
