Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG announces the completion of the integration of Perm Motor GmbH on 1st January 2012. This process began with the acquisition of the PERM company in 2008 and now concludes with the takeover of all active business operations.

In 1996, PERM developed the brushless, double-sided electric disc motor; the company is still in possession of respective patent today. The complete integration of PERM means that in future, HEINZMANN customers will have easier access to this renowned company’s know-how and development expertise.

Because of the numerous advantages they offer in terms of design and use – efficiency, durability, ecological credentials – demand for the brushless double-stator DC motors developed by PERM is set to grow still further in the future. So now, in addition to its own motors for industry, HEINZMANN is able to offer its customers a complete range of these brushless drives especially for the electro-mobility sector.
In order to simplify procedures for customers and suppliers, back in autumn of last year, the product range of brushless disc-type motors had its name changed from the HEINZMANN designation, SL-EC, to the well-known PERM label PMS.
The integration of PERM has considerably enhanced HEINZMANN’s expertise in the field of electric motors, enabling it to react even more flexibly to growing demand from around the world.
