HEINZMANN are pleased to announce the acquisition of the Norwegian company Data Process Automasjon AS with effect from the 1st February, 2011. From this date forth, Data Process Automasjon AS will become a part of the HEINZMANN Group and the company name will change to Data Process AS.

Data Process AS will continue to operate from its offices in Narvik and Bergen/Askøy and the company will remain Norwegian. The products of Data Process are an ideal complement to the existing products of the HEINZMANN Group, thus enabling the company to further expand in the maritime market as a complete system provider offering solutions for engine, turbine and generator management.

Being a reliable provider for maritime automation since 1984, to both the navy and the civilian market, Data Process brings more than 27 years of experience in this field, to the HEINZMANN portfolio. Solutions can be provided from alarm systems to inspection and supervision of propulsion machinery or power management and other technical ship systems.

Already for years, Data Process has been acting as the Norwegian representative for HEINZMANN and has been delivering electronic speed governors and systems for power management and remote control of propulsion to the local market. Additionally, customers will benefit from the service-engineering, overhauls and repair net on HEINZMANN electronic speed governors provided by Data Process.

Through this partnership HEINZMANN will further strengthen the position as a leading system supplier worldwide for diesel-, gas-, dual fuel engine and turbine management solutions. Maritime alarm, monitoring and control systems and complete maritime solutions now complement the HEINZMANN portfolio.

HEINZMANN is renowned for being a serious supplier of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic actuators, analogue and digital control units, electronic fuel injection controls and complete common rail systems.
