So small - So strong! HEINZMANN expanding its brushless disc-type motor series
Press article HEINZMANN (november, 2010)
As a logical progression to the successful development and production of brushless disc-type motors, HEINZMANN is now expanding its series with the SL-EC 80-11B.
The focus is on customer application. And, as always, HEINZMANN is looking to provide the solution that best convinces in terms of technology and cost efficiency. A multitude of customer requirements and projects was once again the catalyst for expanding the extremely short 11B version of the disc-type motor with the smallest drive in the series to date. High performance with the shortest of design was and is the standard set for the disctype motors of Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG. If required, the drive can also be designed with an integrated controller. The customer is thus provided with a “Plug & Play” option, tailored to his specific requirements.
As with the other sizes, this one too is available in the standard variety of designs. Whether it be Hall sensors, resolvers, brakes and/or gears, almost any requirement can be met. With this new development, it is possible to provide customers with customised solutions which cannot be realised with products currently available on the market.
