By car
From Stuttgart (approx. 2 hours) take the Autobahn A 81 in direction Singen. At the Bad Dürrheim exit turn to Donaueschingen on trunk road B 27 in direction Schaffhausen. After Donaueschingen, take the B 31 in direction Titisee / Freiburg. Just before Titisee, take the B 317 in direction Feldberg / Todtnau / Basel.  

From Basel (approx. 1 hour). Take the B 317 in the direction of Donaueschingen. The road takes you past Lörrach, Schopfheim and Zell, before arriving at Schönau.

By rail
The nearest IC / ICE (express) train stations are Freiburg im Breisgau and Basel Badischer Bahnhof. Should you need assistance with regards to transport to Schönau please do not hesitate to contact us.

If travelling by train ask at the travelcentre „DB-Reisezentrum“ (located at every central railway station in Germany) for the best connections and trains. Current schedules and fares are available at www.bahn.de.
The train ride from Frankfurt airport to Freiburg im Breisgau takes around 2 hrs. and 10 minutes.
